Falcon 9 • Starlink 4-35 Launch

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch with another batch of Starlink internet satellites. The Falcon 9’s first stage booster will land on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.

Launch site: SLC-40, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida

Palm Coast and the Flagler Beaches Senior Games

2022 Senior Games will be here soon! Competition is held in 5-year increment age groups, awarding the top three in each division a medal. This is a series qualifier for the Florida State Senior Games.

A1A International Coastal Cleanup 


Join volunteers from around the world for this day of service dedicated to cleaning up our beaches and waterways! Bring your family and friends, church or civic groups out for a morning of serving the community. We have locations all along A1A in Flagler County and St. Johns County, so there are plenty of places to help out.

Calling all creatives! This is your chance to shine. Take part in the Trash to Treasure Art Contest:


STEP 1: Register for the International Coastal Cleanup on September 17, 2022 at Find your piece of trash to transform into a work of art treasure during the International Coastal Cleanup.

STEP 2: Take a photo of your art work and email it to [email protected] by September 30th to be entered in the 'Judges Selection' of the contest. Winner of the 'Judges' Selection' will be announced at the October 7, 2022 First Friday event in Flagler Beach!

STEP 3: Artists are invited to bring their Trash to Treasure art work to the First Friday to display for the 'People's Choice' contest with public voting & award announcement at 7 PM.

STEP 4: Pick up your prize and celebrate a job well done!

International Cleanup Day at Gamble Rogers

Celebrate International Coastal Cleanup Day at Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area by helping to remove litter from the state park beach. 

The beach is home to a tremendous diversity of animals that all depend on a clean and healthy ecosystem. All ages are welcome.

Wear work clothes and shoes; bring a water bottle.
