Falcon 9 • Starlink 4-2 & BlueWalker 3

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch with another batch of Starlink internet satellites. The BlueWalker 3 test satellite for AST SpaceMobile’s planned space-based cellular broadband network is a ridshare payload on this mission. The Falcon 9’s first stage booster will land on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.

Launch time: Approx. 2350 GMT (7:50 p.m. EDT)

Launch site: LC-39A, Kennedy Space Center, Florida

Gamble Jam

Sing along with talented musicians at the Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area! Bring your own instruments and enjoy acoustic jam sessions to honor the memory of James Gamble Rogers IV, the Florida folk musician who rescued a swimmer in the rough surf in 1991. 


Regular park entrance fee applies: $5.00 per vehicle — limit 2-8 people per vehicle

$4.00 per single-occupant vehicle 

$2.00 per pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.

September 11th Remembrance Ceremony

At last year’s ceremony, the Palm Coast Fire Department received a 10-foot seedling of the Survivor Tree from the 9/11 Memorial Museum. A Callery pear tree became known as the “Survivor Tree” after enduring the September 11, 2001 terror attacks at the World Trade Center.

This year’s ceremony will reflect on the growth of this tree as a living reminder of resilience, survival, and rebirth.

Come, we fly!!! September's feature is Hocus Pocus!

Presented in partnership with Flagler Schools. Bring your blanket, lawn chairs, and snacks, and invite your friends and neighbors to join you at this free monthly family activity. Relax and enjoy an “oldie but goodie” or a recent hit as we watch movies on the giant, outdoor movie screen. Don’t forget your bug spray! This series runs from March through October. Registration is not required.

Movie Synopsis:

Three 17th-century witches, hanged for their murderous crimes, are resurrected on Halloween in modern-day Salem by an unsuspecting boy, who must now figure out how to get them back in the ground.
