In Duval County TenBroeck taught innovative curriculums focused on students interested in professionalizing in medicine or coastal sciences; her initiatives pair entrepreneurship with a social mission. One of those is to channel “reemerging citizens”– formerly incarcerated individuals, veterans, people in recovery, women starting over – into the farming enterprises.

The Falcon 9 Block 5 was manufactured by SpaceX with the first launch on 2018-05-11. Falcon 9 Block 5 has 111 successful launches and 0 failed launches with a total of 111 launches. Falcon 9 is a two-stage rocket designed and manufactured by SpaceX for the reliable and safe transport of satellites and the Dragon spacecraft into orbit. The Block 5 variant is the fifth major interval aimed at improving upon the ability for rapid reusability.

Traffic can be excessive and parking will be limited before and after launches.

EVENT INFORMATION:
Check-In: 8:00am FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS AND VOLUNTEERS. Please remember to bring your liability waiver.
Welcome meeting with information for the day will begin at 8:30. Please plan to be at this meeting if you are a volunteer. Participants will find this meeting beneficial as well, as all information will be given for the day’s activities.
9:00-12:00: Surfing
12:00-1:00: Lunch
1:00-4:00: Surfing
There will be exhibitors, raffles, and the SFA merch tent available on the beach through out the day. Raffle winners will be drawn around 2:00. You must be present to win.
Learn to ride the waves at this adult beginners surf camp in Flagler Beach.
Local instructors Gnarly Charley, Summer Washko, and Pepper Pyle will give you all the tips and tricks to surf the swells.
Boards, tents, and water are provided as part of the $125 class fee. Class will be held on the beach near 8th Street (just south of the Flagler Beach Pier).

Sing along with talented musicians at the Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area! Bring your own instruments and enjoy acoustic jam sessions to honor the memory of James Gamble Rogers IV, the Florida folk musician who rescued a swimmer in the rough surf in 1991.
